Jim Lammers received music instruction throughout his youth in Fulton, Missouri. He continued with his formal music education in the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Guitar Performance from UMKC in 1987. Since that time, he has performed extensively as a solo guitarist at public venues, corporate events, private parties, and wedding ceremonies. He has also held a teaching appointment as guitar instructor for the UMKC Community Music and Dance Academy since 1987.
